HRI completed this transit-oriented all-affordable new construction project in 2006, at a former MBTA bus yard in North Cambridge. Trolley Square includes 32 rental homes, eight homeownership units, and one commercial space for a restaurant. Trolley Square’s energy-efficient design includes a solar PV installation, and the development received LEED and Enterprise Green Communities (EGC) certifications.
