Cambridge Neighborhood Apartment Housing Services (CNAHS) was founded in 1983 to address the needs of residents in non-owner-occupied buildings. In 1988, CNAHS joined with HRI to acquire and renovate rental properties, ensuring permanent affordability for the residents of those buildings. CNAHS expanded this partnership with HRI to share staff and resources, and to pursue affordable housing development and preservation opportunities.
