Award Season!

HRI congratulates Jane Carbone, retired HRI Director of Development, for receiving the 2023 BE+ Green Building Change Maker of the Year award. This award recognizes Jane’s mentoring and leadership in sustainable practices in the built environment. According to Jane’s nomination submission, “Jane spent her career building and maintaining affordable housing to the highest standards of design and sustainability.” Congrats also to NEI General Contraction and Bruner/Cott Architects. Both firms won awards for their work on HRI’s Rivermark renovation project. NEI received the Excellence in Construction Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors of Massachusetts at its annual gala on Nov. 2. Bruner/Cott was honored by RetroFit Magazine with the Metamorphosis Award in Multifamily Housing.
