Program Spotlight: Steadfast Solutionz at Rivermark

Steadfast Solutionz, owned by Osayi Erhabor and David Veiga, launched programming at the Juanita Saunders Computer and Activity Center at Rivermark in February of 2023. The state-of-the-art center was opened after completion of Rivermark’s multi-million-dollar renovation. Since then, 40 young people in 1st-12th grade have participated in after-school and summer programs including homework assistance, computer classes, digital music, art, and chess club. Steadfast’s programming is not just for youth. Adult classes include basic computer literacy, resume building, digital music and storytelling, and computer design. In addition, one Rivermark teen has been hired as Steadfast staff at the property.

HRI hopes to expand technology at the Juanita Saunders Center to include 3D printers and additional STEM programming for residents of all ages in 2024.
